About ACADC CARES
ACADC CARES was founded on the belief that every person — regardless of socioeconomic status — deserves access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care.

Meet our founder
Mr. Walker is the Founder of ACADC CARES, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to equitable mental health support for underserved individuals and families throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
ACADC CARES was established in response to the systemic barriers that prevent many people from receiving timely, culturally responsive, and community-based care. The organization works to bridge the gap between mental health needs and available resources by connecting underserved communities with compassionate support, education, crisis intervention, and pathways to comprehensive care.
Through ACADC CARES, Mr. Walker advances a community-centered vision in which mental health services are accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status. The nonprofit prioritizes individuals and families who are often overlooked by traditional systems of care, including those experiencing anxiety, trauma, crisis situations, and other complex mental health challenges.
Our mission
ACADC CARES is committed to developing innovative solutions that address disparities in mental health care. Through advocacy, partnerships, education, and direct community support, ACADC CARES works to create a more equitable mental health system — one where every person has the opportunity to receive the care and resources they need.
Our vision
Our long-term vision includes expanding community-based services and establishing accessible, 24-hour mental health clinics that offer counseling, diagnostic support, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and crisis stabilization. We envision an Atlanta where mental health care is a right, not a privilege.
What guides us
We believe mental health care must be accessible to everyone, regardless of income, background, or circumstance.
We honor the diverse identities and lived experiences of the communities we serve, delivering care that is relevant and respectful.
We meet every individual with warmth, dignity, and genuine care — no judgment, no barriers.
We are rooted in the communities we serve, building trust through presence, partnership, and shared purpose.
We pursue creative, evidence-informed solutions to close the gaps that traditional systems have left open.
We speak up for systemic change so that equitable mental health care becomes the standard, not the exception.
Whether you need support, want to volunteer, or are looking to partner with us — we'd love to hear from you.
