Meet Dr. Nadia Barnett
She is a dedicated and experienced counseling professional with a diverse background in acute care, community agencies, crisis intervention, and outpatient practice settings.
With extensive experience working with adolescents and adults, she has provided personal, psychoeducational, and psychosocial counseling services, supporting individuals in managing a wide range of mental health challenges, with a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and holistic client care.
Dr. Barnett strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their journey toward well-being.
Believing in a client-centered and strengths-based approach, she empowers individuals to recognize their internal resources, develop necessary skills, and address presenting concerns and underlying issues. This approach fosters resiliency, autonomy, and personal growth, equipping clients with the tools to navigate life’s challenges effectively.

Meet one of Atlanta Counseling & Diagnostics Center's newest team member, Karl Lamb.
He is a compassionate and dedicated professional, who is committed to fostering positive mental health and well-being. He is enthusiastic about helping others navigate life's challenges and improving their relationship issues.
His counseling style is collaborative and client-centered, which creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported. He integrates evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Center Therapy (PCT). Karl is also a certified Prepare-Enrich and SYMBIS facilitator.
Mr. Lamb earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Liberty University. His approach emphasizes empathy, active listening, fostering self-awareness, and empowering clients to build resilience and achieve meaningful growth in their personal lives and relationships.

Meet one of Atlanta Counseling & Diagnostics Center's newest team members, Susan Little.
She is passionate about working with clients to foster change in their lives. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University.
As a first-generation graduate, she understands the complexities of having multiple identities and the need for a multicultural lens. Susan works to create an environment that encourages clients to feel both comfortable and safe.
Before entering the counseling field, Susan spent her post-undergraduate career as a Registered Behavior Technician working with children aged 2-6 on the autism spectrum. During this time, she was able to participate in hands-on behavioral interventions, which further shaped her transition to the counseling profession.
When she is not studying or seeing clients, Susan enjoys baking, cooking, watching anime, spending time with her kitten, and hiding from the pollen.

She is a dedicated Psychology student at Georgia Gwinnett College with a passion for mental health and developmental support. She currently serves as both a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Intake Coordinator.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Betsy is committed to helping individuals with mental and developmental challenges navigate their lives more effectively and reach their full potential.
Outside of her professional and academic aspirations, Betsy enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending quality time with her family. As someone who is family-oriented, she values connection and making memories with her loved ones. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants with different cuisines.

He is a Counseling Intern. I am a student at Mercer University pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. Previously I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
I believe that for each of us to be our best selves, we must prioritize self-care and our mental health. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and our newborn son, hiking the outdoors, watching college football and Atlanta Hawks basketball, & cooking.

He is a second-year student at Mercer Univerity in Atlanta, working on my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree.
As a born and raised native of Barrow County, I am glad to be back serving parts of my community and our neighbors on the journey of mental wellness and health.
My passion is working with young adults and college-level students to work through adjustment periods of change and improve one's mental health.
I am a professional barista and chef when I'm not in the office. On my days off, I enjoy fishing for bass, watching or playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family! I am excited to meet and work with you all!"
